Waller, Todd & Sadler had the privilege of working with ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in designing a contemporary style house for a deserving local family.

Beverly Hill-Burdette and her family transitioned from a cramped 1,500 SF ranch to a spacious 4,000 SF home including five bedrooms, four bathrooms and ample room for their six daughters ranging in age from 8 to 18. The designers reflected Beverly’s work with the homeless in the design of her kitchen by incorporating a very large pantry to store an abundance of canned food.

Over 6,000 individuals volunteered to work during the build, as well donate materials, services and money, including Old Dominion University whom offered scholarships to the six daughters. Not only did the family benefit from the community’s outreach, but the FoodBank of Southeastern Virginia received a huge donation of canned goods from the Hampton Roads community. Waller, Todd & Sadler is proud to have been a part of this very special and memorable event.
